2006 SPEAKER SHOWCASE

Each year, eWomenPublishingNetwork and eWomenSpeakersNetwork host an event where 15 dynamic women speakers are showcased to event and meeting planners looking for new talent.

The 15 speakers are selected from hundreds of applicants from all over the United States and Canada.  We try to bring a wide range of speaking topics and styles, but focus on those that would be of interest to corporations as keynotes or workshop presentations at annual conferences, from a feminine perspective.

Chosen speakers present for 10 minutes to an audience of approximately 200 attendees, including eWomenNetwork corporate sponsors who are selecting speakers for their national and regional events, and the 80 Managing Directors of the eWomenNetwork Chapters.

When and Where:

This event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the InterContinental Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

Deadline:

We must receive all applications and videotapes by Friday, April 14, 2006.

All notifications of acceptance will be made by Friday, May 5, 2006.

Each speaker will receive:

1. Speaking coaching and image consultation, by phone, in preparation for the presentation, and optional on-site professional make up and hair styling
    
2. A professionally edited master videotape of her presentation, suitable for use as a demo for future speaking engagments   (optional, for an additional fee)
    
3. A full year listing of their speaker showcase experience, including streaming video on the eWomenSpeakersNetwork directory

The fee to submit an application is $25, nonrefundable.  If you are selected, the fee to participate is $250.  Also available will be professionally produced videos of a single speaker's portion of the event, for $495.

Important: To submit an application, you must be a member of eWomenPublishingNetwork or eWomenSpeakersNetwork and be an author or in the process of completing a book or other informational products.  As part of the application you will be asked to upload a recent headshot in a JPG format.  You must separately send a video of you speaking, but it does not have to be professionally produced.
